Is a senior independent IT consultant with experience in the full life cycle of the software design process. For more than ten years, he has been involved in the development of software for the financial, government, military and industrial sectors, as a project manager, business analyst, and software developer. In addition, he has more than ten years experience as a chemical engineer in the oil industry, where he has worked in research, planning and operations. His main assignments were in Africa, South America and Asia. This international experience provided him with the people and mental skills necessary to work in different and challenging environments. In addition, his strong educational background has given him the capacity to quickly adapt to new technical challenges. He holds a postgraduate level of education in both, Engineering and Economics. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He is a South African and Argentine citizen, at present residing in South Africa and willing to work anywhere in the world. |

Petroleum & Chemical Engineering
Sasol Technology South Africa. Mar 1993 - Jan 2003
At Sasol Technology, he started as a process engineer at the Separation Technology Group, a role that evolved into work as a System Engineer at the Group Profit Optimization department. From 2002 he worked as a contractor. His main tasks included:
• Developed a performance evaluation system used for the evaluation of over 800 Sasol engineers, and was later contracted to manage the Contribution Based Assessment of 2002.
• Created production models for units at Secunda, Sasolburg and Natref plants using machine learning and linear programming techniques.
• Conducted pilot plant scale experiments on oil by-products and researched on solvent extraction.
YPF (Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales) Argentina. Mar 1985 - Aug 1989
At YPF, started as a research engineer and moved to the oil field as a field engineer
• Researched on natural zeolites.
• Estimated oil and gas reserves and assisted in the supervision of well operations by contractors (Schlumberger and Halliburton).
